EducationI'm currently a medical student at UCLA. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in the spring of 2012 with a major in Neuroscience and minors in Chemistry and Spanish. I maintained a 3.9 G.P.A and graduated high-school with a 4.0.
ExperienceMedical School at UCLA
Since my matriculation into medical school I have been employed by the university and tutoring medical students at UCLA from 2013-present. I have experience in preparing students for the MCAT.
University of Pittsburgh:
I tutored for the University of Pittsburgh at the Academic Resource Center from 2008-2012. I also led Organic Chemistry recitations/classes from 2010-2012.
During my senior year I was head tutor and created new tutoring programs such as online satellite tutoring.
I've tutored high school students in chemistry, algebra, geometry, biology, and calculus for the past 7 years. I currently do private tutoring with high-school and college students. In addition, I have tutored students with hearing disabilities and other learning difficulties. I really enjoy tutoring and the feeling it elicits when the student understands and does better as a result. This intrinsic satisfaction is what motivates me to be the best tutor I can.
HobbiesI am really into sports including football and basketball. I played both in high-school and continued to play football in college for my first 2 years. I also really enjoy neuroscience and I frequently read up on the current literature.
